Gmail Tasks is a pretty handy feature, which has just become even better.

You can now access Gmail Tasks directly from your mobile by pointing your browser to http://gmail.com/tasks.

Your mobile browser needs to be XHTML compliant, have cookies enabled, and the network must allow secure SSL traffic.

Needless to say that iPhone and Android users will have an even more enjoyable Tasks experience.

Nokia today announced that its highly anticipated update for Nokia Maps has left beta stage and is now ready for consumers to download.

Updates include enhanced pedestrian navigation, new satellite images and support for integrated compass orientation.

Nokia Maps 2.0 uses vector maps provided by Navteq and TeleAtlas, Nokia Maps now has maps covering over 200 countries, with over 70 of them navigable. Maps can be downloaded over the air directly to selected devices or by using the Nokia Map Loader on a PC.
