Every day, before going to work, I am always spending 10-15 minutes reading some of my favorite feeds.
Today I have just noticed some new features on Google Reader that made my day.
The 100+ item/feed counter becomes 1000+, and that means that the exact number of items up to 1000 is shown. (screenshot)
There is a new vertical bar that separates the layout into two panels. You can actually hide the left panel, which is the feeds list. That’s quite useful if you want to read your feeds in full screen. (screenshot)
Now the loading action has an animated icon in front of the text. (screenshot)
You might not be able to see these new features, and I might not be able to see them later on, as Google usually tests some new features on random users before globally deploying them.
