Apple has created a directory that lists all compatible iPhone Web applications.

Applications are separated into appropriate categories.
For each application you can find a small description, the details of the company and the link to the application.
Moreover you can either preview an application on the accompanied screenshot or view it on your computer’s browser.

For example here is the page for the famous Bejeweled game.
If you click on the game’s URL from your computer browser you can instantly play.

Since iPhone currently doesn’t support Flash content, the Web applications should be based on AJAX/Javascript, like the Bejeweled game does.

PortableApps.com

Last week I got myself a fancy Apacer USB flash drive.
Pretty good deal, 1 GB for 20€.

The first thing that I have loaded on the drive was Firefox’s portable edition.
It is useful to have your own browser’s bookmarks, extensions, options etc, while you are using public computers.
