Following took hardly 10 seconds to resolve the problem.

Thanks everybody contributing to this blog.

1. Close TOAD.
2. Delete “plsqlkeys.bin” from your directory. (C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\User Files)
3. Reopen TOAD and see whether those keys now work.

Hello,

I have just solved my performance problems with the VS2008 designer.

I did a search on my hard disk for the file “fpcutl.dll” and found it into the following folders with the following versions:

- C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11, version 11.0.8170.0

- C:\Program Files\Microsoft Web Designer Tools\VWD, version 12.0.6319.5000

I simply replaced the file in OFFICE11 folder by the file from the VWD folder, so that both files now have the version 12.0.6319.5000. After restarting it, I noticed a huge improvement in VS2008 designer performance.

For your info, I have Office 2007, FrontPage 2003 and all versions of Visual Studio (except 2010) installed on my machine

I’m halfway successful transferring my itunes data over from my pc to my mac…I have transferred all the files successfully. In itunes i can see the name of the song, genre, band. However I am still missing play count, date added and last played. I believe my issue to be on step 6. On the XML file I can see the line that requires editing ( around line 10)…Can’t quite figure out this step:

Therefore copy/paste the complete path as you see it on your xml file, and then replace it with your path (set on steps 4-5).
If it’s a network folder then it will look like “file://localhost/Volumes/share-name/music-folder/”.
Else it should be something like “file://localhost/Users/your-username/music-folder/”

Tools -> Preferences -> Accelerators -> Load Preset -> Default -> OK

If somebody uses german menu fenster, the corresponding actions are:
Extras->Voreinstellung->Schnelltasten->Voreinstellung laden

It works.
